Read…Get and Stay Aware…Connect…

We are at a critical juncture in our evolution as a country. Our Freedoms have been steadily eroding for a long time now, even as we work hard, believing that our hard work; love of our friends and families; the basic tenets of our beloved country; that it will all bring us the Freedom and Liberty we have grown up believing is our birthright.

But, over the decades – and I have been through more than a few – things have changed; and they continue to change, and not for the better. Those I call the BiggiePiggies play us like fine instruments, using propaganda, half truths, mistruths, outright lies, and pointing fingers at whom we are supposed to blame. Our current Congress is bereft of any moral compass.

I’m an amateur at doing a blog, so forgive me if it doesn’t always look right. But, for me, the time has come to say something…to connect with folks who feel at least somewhat the way I do. I neither need nor want to be around people who have no thoughts of their own. What we each need is to do the research for ourselves. Read a lot; talk with each other (I don’t yell, but I am passionate about Freedom.)

I must confess to being a lover of good spelling (hee hee); but hey, I can’t do Math. If I get above a Venn Diagram, I start to shudder!

Politicians come and go. They do good or they do no good. But, at the end of the day, its about us – We the Everyday People. Are we Paul Reveres? Or, are we the ones who sit at home, in front of the boob tube, shrug our shoulders and allow the marketing of Fear to overcome us? It is your choice. Mine is Paul Revere.
